Nokia Paying $25Million to Get At&t staff to Use Lumia 900s?

We’ve heard of the April 8th/9th release date for the Lumia 900 from At&t- but what’s even more interesting is how hard Nokia are pushing At&t to make the Lumia 900 it’s Flagship Device (not Nokias flagship; but At&t’s); according to WPCenteral Nokia are arranging a deal with At&t to get all of their desk clerks and employees to start using the Lumia 900. This deal would mean that all At&t employees could get a free Lumia 900 provided that they ditch their other company phone.

Here’s why I think this is a brilliant idea-

First off At&t have already lost their exclusive iPhone meaning that they need some other device to keep people locked down to them. Secondly as far as I can tell alot of carrier employees are giving WP the cold shoulder; recommending other devices over it even when asked about it specifically getting them to try out the OS outside the confines of the store and in their daily life would greatly add to their enthusiasm and influence when pushing these devices. And of course Nokia have alot of money to spend on advertising (part of the MS-Nokia deal) I believe it was something like 200 Million or so; and the best way to sell something is to have someone convince you on it, not a billboard or a TV ad or even an Amazing everyday.

Anyways anyone at At&t want to hook me up?

Source thanks to Viipottaja for the tip.
