Video Samples: Nokia N97 in Monte Carlo, 4:3 and 16:9 sample videos
These are two video samples taken by the Nokia N97. Now, they’re not in HD but it’s the very best VGA (I think anyways) yet in camera phones. At least if it sticks to Nseries standard, you’ll know you’ll get excellent frame rate, stellar audio and the reliance that it will work very well in most lighting conditions.

Just listen to the creaking of the boat and the subtle chirping in the background. I’ve always found that Nseries phones are extremely good when it comes to the audio in their video. (Although I do wish they’d bring back stereo recording that we saw in the N93!) If only the actual voice recording application could capture audio at this quality.

We’ve seen wide screen recording in the Nokia 5800, and I just love the convenience carried through in the N97 of not having to manually edit video to convert them into 16:9. Better for watching on the computer, TV, sharing online like on YouTube or Vimeo or whatnot.
