Nokia N8 pre-orders live in the US
Nokia USA has pulled the trigger and placed the Nokia N8 up for preorder on their site. It’s going for $549 with an availability at the end of September 🙁 (so far away!). The only available colour is black unfortunately and unlike the 5800 preorders last time around, there are no coupons to drop the price.
For those who’d like to complain about the steep price, for the sake of perspective.
The N97 sold for $700 and the Nokia 5800 was 389 on pre-order so this price is definitely a healthy median of the two. We can probably expect the price to drop after release to around $450 which would be absolutely great. Looking forward to getting my hand on one of ’em and maybe posting a bit of a review too!
