Nokia N8 in stock in US, 549USD list price. AT&T possible exclusive contract plans.

Nokia N8 in stock by a major tech distributer

Apparently, a source working for one of the world’s largests tech distributers suggests that the Nokia N8 for North America is in stock. In their stock inventory, the unsubsidized, unlocked recommended list price is set to 549.99 USD. That’s only around 355GBP. That’s pretty close the the EU price hovering around 459 EUR (381 GBP). The UK preorder price at Nokia.com is 429GBP (35GBP. I’m not sure if this is a typo but the source goes on to indicate the N8 may be sold for 449USD. That’s only 292GBP. ?? Colours available are grey (possibly the black one), white (possibly the silver one) and green.

Availability dates proposed was Sept 21, with a warning possibly for October. Though it has been rumoured to be launching along side Nokia World next week. N8 release dates – the new Never Ending Story.

The whole sale price is blurred to prevent link back to the source.

On another note, this may just be rumours so grab a pinch of salt, but from another source who emailed our tips@mynokiablog.com page

  • Nokia are working on THREE Nokia N8 versions. N8-00 is the global variant. (possible other variants w/ keyboard and another with 32GB?)
  • A cheaper version supposed to be for Chinese market
  • Nokia supposedly working with AT&T to have exclusive N8 USA model with subsidies.
