Update: Nokia Sweden says Major N8 update due later Spring – time undetermined. PR1.1 due February.

OK some updates from a more official source than random comments earlier this morning. Well, these are again from comments but from Nokia Sweden’s Facebook Page (cheers to thaijoni). I’m hoping that’s an official page.

Anyway, Mattias Asked Nokia Sweden (Nokia Sverige) when the N8 updates were coming.

According to Google Translator:

So, that means unlikely PR1.1 for the masses as rumoured for Monday or at all this January (the PR1.1 on navifirm last week doesn’t count). This might also suggest no PR2.0 in February (Spring is March, April, May unless there’s a different spring for a different Region. e.g. Winter here in UK is Summer down under. Though being Nokia Sweden I’d guess, still March-May). If only my Swedish housemate was around to be asked.

Nokia Sweden says Marcus’ comment is right. Is this just about February or all the comment – which suggests a better browser will appear? Prob best to just stick with the date rather than what’s coming.

Seems the only really good thing from rumours posts is that actual, more reliable info is retrieved by you guys in the comments…

Now depends what they want to do: wait until 4.7.3 is finish that will be probably february or release it with 4.7.2 and that will probably be end of january.

I wish we had more definite timings.
