Ladies and gents, an awesome game has appeared on the Ovi Store for Symbian^3 – it’s the smash hit Fruit Ninja and it’s just £1.00/99 cents. Great app, fantastic price! All my iThingy friends love this game and now you can try it out too. If you haven’t heard of this game before, we have the brilliant again to demo it for us.

The worldwide smash hit game Fruit Ninja is now available for Nokia C7 & N8! Fruit Ninja is a juicy action game with squishy, splatty and satisfying fruit carnage! Become the ultimate bringer of sweet, tasty destruction with every slash. Swipe up across the screen to deliciously slash fruit like a true ninja warrior. With three games modes in single player the addictive gameplay will keep you coming back for even higher scores. Fruit Ninja is the original and the best slasher on Nokia C7 & N8!

There are 3 Single player modes available for you to play, namely Classic ( Unlimited time, Do not hit bombs or lose fruits ), Arcade mode (limited time [1:30], Bombs have minus points, has power up bananas) and the Zen mode ( limited time [1:00] no bombs) .While you progress through, you will be able to unlock many achievements that will eventually appear in the Dojo. However there is no Multiplayer and no achievements tracking in online, everything is local. And surprisingly, the game does not detect more than one touch, while it happily detects 5 touches on my iPod touch 4g.

Performance is great, no lag whatsoever. Give it a try, but, beware, it is very addictive.

Cheers Dan for the heads up!

Well, still consider a good start! :D

WAT? developers still interested in symbian???

i guess they’re are 1/4 billion of them anyway

i hope more iphone hits come to n8 like doodle truck, proper doodle jump, fall down……simple but addictive games

honestly though i think the n8 was a failure too late in the market

good game installing took about 5-7 minutes though

      its worth it

Yes, but this is a Java version. :( Not so smooth.

By the way.. Hey! Our avatar is almost the same! lol

        • thebrain

          its not that smooth
          not all the blocks
          not all power ups
          not all monsters
          no themes at all

its easier on symbian. i got 105,000 honestly
but 30,000 is hard on ios

overall not that good on symbian
