I was watching the live stream and these headset came out of the blue, wasn’t expecting it. Design is pretty nice.
There’s 2 type of headset:

they should have gone Sony is they wanted quality+funky design (well better than monster quality anyway)

They def should have gone with sennheiser. Love their headsets.

hehe they’re called “BEATS by Dr.Dre” but made by monster; and just like their cables they’re overpriced garbage
This is just a marketing move. Majority of consumers know Monster, not everyone knows Sennheiser and not everyone thinks of quality audio components when they think of Sony.
majority of consumers know Sennheiser.. in fact that’s all you used to see when you open up a flyer and look @ head/earphones
sony has a reputation of being quality + every teen/kid/adult used cheap sony head/earphones in their time and know of their durability
everyone knows Beats, yes… teens/kids know them as being overpriced & popular (but teens don’t know that Beats=Monster just look @ the engadget remarks from the yonger generation they’re like “Beats copy” or “monster? id rather get Beats”- adults/audiophiles know them to be garbage + overpriced
heck just look @ the comments on other sites regarding these NokiaMonsters nothing but negative remarks
Most kids I know don’t give a crap about Senheiser or Bose or any of those brands but they love Beats by Dre and Monster because they see it featured in the Korean pop videos.
Must be a geographical thing. When I see “monster” I think of cookies, and when you say “audio” I think of Sennheiser, AKG, Grado, Denon.. hmm.. and maybe Klipsch for speakers..
I do think of Sony as an “affordable” brand with acceptable quality, I have a pair of Sony cans after all. That said, using Panasonic’s on my N8, sounds better than the one that comes with the phone at least…
Wished Nokia made a phone with a built in headphone amp….
I’d rather go with A&H, but that’s another story.
I don’t like these ads. Focus on apps and games
Monster is bad. Beware Beware Do not buy!
Really nice ads, never tried any Monster stuff before, I have heard lots of negative comments but need to try myself at the end of the day ever on is different.
