Photos and Videos: Lumia Amazing Events on 3rd and 4th Dec at Orchard Singapore

I promised you guys pictures, didn’t I?

So here you go, courtesy of loyal Singaporean Nokia fans and Nokia Singapore.

At The Heeren, Orchard: The Amazing Nokia Style Challenge

Really liking the umbrella!

At Knightsbridge, Orchard: The Nokia Lumia Amazing Entertainment Challenge

Here’s a video from the fine folks at TechieLobang.com

I apologise for not being able to bring you live updates of the events as I was resting on the 3rd to prepare for my marathon and for the 4th, well, I was totally KO-ed. I just recovered this morning.

Anyway, for those who are on the road often, you might have seen this eye-grabbing mobile ad.

Do you think this marketing campaign will work in an Apple-and-Android-dominated Singapore or is it just another ‘meh’ event like the n9 ninja stunt?

I guess the answer will be out tomorrow as 7th December heralds the unveiling of the much awaited Nokia Lumia series in Singapore. The number of attendees would be a good gauge of Nokia’s marketing effectiveness.

To those who wish to show their support, be sure to come down to Read Bridge at Clark Quay at 7 pm to experience the unveiling in VIP style. If you are one of the first hundred to purchase the Lumia 800 at the event, you will get an Xbox 360 with Kinect free-of-charge. Also, there are many other amazing promotions in store for you.

Visit the Official Nokia Singapore Facebook page to find out more.

Anyone excited about tomorrow?

umm where are the people? seems pretty deserted in the pictures and the video, a normal quiet day at orchard road… :(

hmm the pictures i used might not be a good representation as I was not there first hand to report. Also if i do not recall wrongly, that saturday was an extremely wet day and sunday was the marathon day. So i guess the event took quite a hit. Hence, I mentioned that the true gauge of Nokia’s marketing effectiveness would be tomorrow. Hopefully, all is well!

      • John says:

Sorry, I am a Singaporean and I am all out to buy 2 Lumia 800 tomorrow.

        • MyNokiaLife says:

Are you checking out the new Windows 8 videos on youtube? Man, those are getting better and better!! Hey “can’t be helped”, I’ll gladly sell you my ipad for a Nokia Windows 8 tablet in June. Warning, look out for malware in the itunes store and don’t stand next to those hot babes with your iphone as it might explode. They don’t like that kind of thing and they are so good looking!

Nokia will be very successful with its Windows Phone lineup whether some kids like Cod3rror like it or not.

Symbian was good at its time but the other day when I booted my N8 (with the latest leaked Belle) I honestly puked in my mouth a little…. I took some photos at a party and next morning it was back to my Windows Phone…. (the Cyan version of Lumia 800 is on the mail).

I also tried N9 at a store and it sucked beyond belief. Meego Harmattan is simply a half-assed backed job that would lead Nokia to nowhere…. I guess that some people are simply born as MS haters…. It’s like “anything but Microsoft”….

    Whatever. Hate on….

(Thanks for the coverage guys, and for telling your true/unbiased opinion).

  4. Victor Ng says:

Wonder how many ppl will attend tomorrow… I can only attend after my works…. Hope i could be 1 of the 100 to grab the Lumia 800….
