Lumiappaday #41: 3D Paperball demoed on the Nokia Lumia 800
These apps are often very popular across many platforms. This app uses the accelerometer really well with the 3D graphics to provide a really nice visual experience – kinda like as if your phone is some portal. I can only describe it as if you are rotating a hollow frame and what you see inside stays vertical. The use of this is actually a practical part of the game to sort of angle your view differently so you can see the paper basket better. Then as with other paperball apps, flick to get it in the basket. I sucked quite badly on video at this game. If you play this in the normal position without having to check if you’re in frame or whatnot, it’s much, much easier to play :p.
