NIcki Minaj and Nokia Dominate Times Square

BOOM! This is what I call a successful start to a launch campaign- hours ago (while I was unfortunately sleeping) Nokia & Nicki Minaj took the stage at the times square event and unleashed the rage of rolling thunder onto the US; now I missed the show but from what I’m seeing on my timeline it was pretty cool- basically Nicki was singing (with some product placement) while Nokia Lumia 900s took over all the billboards in times square.

Hum-de-hum you might not agree with me; but the image above is what TRULY sells mobile phones; forget LTE and cameras and nice screens- if you really want people in the US (and anywhere else) to ditch their iPhones and Droids you have to make it look cool to use your product; on that aspect at least the show delivers, even if people don’t rush off to buy one now it’ll be in their minds when they DO go to upgrade their plan, In my opinion a promising start to a hopefully successful campaign.
