Whatsapp for WP updated to V1.9 now support Emoji &Media History!

Whatsapp for WP just got updated to V1.9; as far as I can tell the latest version brings support for Emoji (which has been a common complaint against the WP version) as well as “recently shared media” under Contact info.

Full Changelog:

Improved support for Emoji
– Group mute features
– Share contacts
– Browse downloaded media in a conversation
– German and Russian localizations
– The usual bug fixes and performance improvements

If you don’t find the update on your marketplace try the “Forcing a Marketplace update” technique (worked for me).

I have no idea why you’d want to send your friend a “smiling turd” but now you can! Enjoy.
