No Skype for Lumia 610 – 512mb Ram Required

Well we all knew this was coming, but I personally didn’t imagine it would start with such a vital app; as Jay posted Skype graduated from Beta yesterday and is now available directly in the marketplace, required that you have 512Mbs or Ram. Currently this only leaves two devices out of the video chatting fun, the Lumia 610 and some ZTE low end device.

Worry not however since this is listed as “Known Problem” which hopefully means that it will soon be fixed, I guess for now Tango is your go to app (plus the fact that it provides background calls).
