The user manual for the upcoming Nokia Drive 3.0 update for Windows Phone, has been leaked.

According to the PDF;
You can:
• Find your way with turn-by-turn directions and voice guidance
• Track your location, speed, and the distance driven, even if not navigating
• Preload maps before travelling and use Nokia Drive offline to save data costs
• Save your most-used destinations to your phone
• Get a warning when you exceed the speed limit
• Get real-time info on traffic incidents and conditions on your daily routes using
my commute
The thing I am looking forward to the most is My Communte, as it should help those traveling in peak-time traffic, get to their destination the fastest. I often consider alternate routes when I drive to uni, but you just can’t be sure if it will be quicker, so for people like me, this updated functionality will work a treat.
I think it was mentioned at the WP8 dev summit, with the new GPS API, Nokia Drive will be able to work in the background, so we may see some really cool features added when that finally rolls out.

…And where is the Nokia Walk with voice guidance? I still miss that feature in Lumia
When is going to be launched for present lumia phones?
I would like to see these options included in the GPS
1. turn by turn navigation to call out street names.
2. Turn by turn navigation to call out exit numbers on the interstate.
3. option to view directions list.
So, it will finally be up to par with the Symbian version, plus My Commute?
If it still doesnt announce street names, including exit numbers, it still hasn’t caught up with the Symbian version.
Side note: I’m typing this with my N900 physical keyboard…..I haven’t used a physical keyboard in so long on a phone….I have to actually type all the letters and spell check it myself! GASP! No software aids or trickery!!!!!!
Back on topic, all I want is street names added otherwise I’ll just have to keep using Drive on my N8.
It’s still behind symbian version
So, still no multiple route suggestions, still no auto day/night switch, still no multiple route points.
Nokia developers SUCK! Simple as that, they have shitty programmers, don’t go blaming managers for the terrible software.
How about some ghetto area warning? Yes Multiple route please. It led me literally to a scary local route while driving at night.
