I need Lumia 920 so badly that I have submitted it already. Also, I have stopped my purchases to have Lumia 920… Just want to make sure Lumia comes to Middle East on the same day of release.
Yeah me too! I just bought an 808 PureView a few months ago and I can’t sell it because of emotiona attachment and sentimental value plus it’s gonna be a collector’s item so the only way for me to own a Nokia 920 is by winning the contest or saving up my allowance.
Good Luck! I had N8 earlier and given to my brother as gift as he wanted to have a camera phone… N8 is top class in taking Photos. Now I have N9… which I will keep along with Lumia 920… Nov is tooo far! Nokia should have released it before iPhone.
what even kills me most is about lumia 920 is
it wireless charger! OMG!

Hey, pay the 808 more respect. At least for its camera. It is still amazing even compared to the 920′s.
The 920′s camera is far more useful than the 808, and since you have to still carry a real phone around with you if you have the 808…
huh 808 is not a real phone??? i know my comment won’t be appreciated in a wp thread but c’mon the 808 is a real beast. and it’s camera is far more usefull than the 920 how you can even say otherwise………
It’s a real dumbphone, Symbian isn’t a smartphone OS for any practical purposes. The 920 PureView is far more useful for real world usage than the 808 PureView. You need professional gear and accessories to take full advantage of the 808, at which point you could get a better DSLR for the same price, or buy another high quality lens for the one you already have. The 920 is an every day carry, and makes consistently good shots regardless of the situation, whereas the 808 is better for some fringe cases but worse for some common usage situations.
Anyway…
The 820 should have a better display. 800 x 480 is a bit ‘meh’. Design wise I actually prefer the 820 to the 920.
800×480 is fine for a midrange phone. As long as they price it appropriately, nothing wrong with that resolution.
Damn, I don’t have a FB account – what can I do (and NO – I DO NOT want to sign up for FB)?
Just make a bogus account and use if for everything.
Too bad it doesn’t support AWS. Otherwise I’d certainly overlook the bezel issue if I were to get it for free. Not sure I want to carry around a Lumia 920 that I’d be tethering off my Lumia 710.
I’ve read that WP8 supports USB mass storage mode. So will I be able to move music and photos between WP8 device and linux PC? I’m really liking those new Lumias but I use Ubuntu/elementary OS.
So if I win should I keep it, or sell it and buy Jolla?

Nokia should consider that a lot of the same people who avoid Android over privacy concerns also avoid Facebook.

I really like to have nokia lumia 920 in my hands. I live in Georgia(It is not american state) and my parents doesn’t have enough money to buy things like this phone so I’ll be very happy if I’ll have an opportunity to win nokia lumia 920. I really adore this phone.
