N8 appears in Aussie Drama; Boasts iOS Call UI

I know this is a pointless post, but I am fairly worked up over this.

Over the last week, I had seen ads for an Aussie Drama, House Husbands. My Nokia eye caught glimpses of the side of an N8. I made it my mission to watch the latest episode, as I had been told by some friends, that the Lumia 710 had been seen the week before. It didn’t take long actually. Within the first minute, two N8’s made an appearance.

It isn’t strange to see a phone with a modified UI (usually done to avoid infringements), but seeing Symbian’s UI swapped for iOS made me enter rage mode. Sure, iOS is probably the most recognized UI in the world, but still, the device was most likely given to the show, on good faith, and this is how it is presented.

Not only is iOS UI screenshot used (can tell its a screenshot as no breathing light and the size of UI is totally wrong), they cover it up with a stupid cover. I admit, I saw the phone covered up, and did think it was an iPhone.
