Nokia 808 PureView vs Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom ‘comparison’

One more comparison between the Nokia 808 PureView and the SGSIV. I’m surprised how ridiculously out of focus the 808 is. Especially since we know precisely what it can do. Nice try. :p

I mean, seriously. For goodness sake you might as well have taken the 808 pictures with it inside a box. What’s the point.

Ha. Oh well, that’s a bit harsh. But check out what I mean. I’m sure photos I’ve taken with the 808 myself haven’t looked this bad. Unless the SGSIV Zoom is making it look like that (though other comparison samples I’ve seen show the 808 to be sharper).

Ideally, when making comparison of photo quality, you’d have both focused at the same area, and in focus. When testing out other things, like AF accuracy, then go ahead and include samples of out of focus shots, perhaps mention the percentage of in focus pics. etc 🙂

I’m going to wait for more comparisons.

Update: More info here. Mixed up the sources with the other phonearena. But still, I’m surprised by the results from the 808.
