Lumiapps: Lufthansa App Now Available for Nokia Lumia WP8

I am writing today to let you know about a new app from Lufthansa, available for Windows Phone 8.0. The new Lufthansa app, available here, allows you to do everything in one app: booking, view the timetable, check your flight status, check-in and more. Users also benefit from quick access to their personal travel details and their Miles & More account.

• ·         Book Lufthansa flights to destinations worldwide conveniently via your Windows smartphone.
• ·         Request arrivals and departures information for all Lufthansa direct flights and find out about the status of your flight whilst on the move.
• ·         So that your boarding passes are available to you at any time even offline, there are two options for saving these directly in the app:

o   Storage when you check-in via the app

o   Retrospective storage of your mobile boarding pass

• ·         Get the latest information on the status of your flights sent directly to your smartphone by push message. Simply pin the required flight to your start screen as a live tile and you have all your flights directly in view.
