The August 2013 results for Kantar Worldpanel shows that Windows Phone, thanks to Nokia Lumia, exceeds 9% in the big EU5.
Almost there for double digits?
We last looked at their July results here.
Blackberry continues to shrink from 2.4% now to 1.8%.
iOS also shrunk from 17.9 to 16.1%.
In the UK, WP is now 12%, up from 9.2% in July.
Here’s WPC’s summary:
- Germany:Â 8.8% (+5.0% YoY)
- GB:Â 12.0% (+7.5% YoY)
- France:Â 10.8% (+5.2% YoY)
- Italy:Â 9.5% (-0.8% YoY)
- Spain:Â 2.2% (+0.1% YoY)
- USA:Â 3.0% (+0.4% YoY)
- China:Â 2.1% (-2.6% YoY)
- Australia:Â 6.5% (+2.8% YoY)
New Android handsets and iPhone 5S/5C might shift things again for September/October. Nokia’s really the only one pushing WP.
