WP8 GDR3 Preview Gets Updates; Some Users Have Issues (+ Fix)

WP8 users who have the GDR3 Preview (not sure if it is for those who have the full version on HTC devices) has been rolling out. No noticeable changes have been spotted, presumably just bug fixes.
Its not all sunshine and daisies though, users, such as myself, have had an issue where the device will not open any app that isn’t a system app (phone, messaging, calendar, settings, etc). One solution is to re-install the apps, though a reddit user discovered, that if you install a new keyboard (which will install like an update), all the apps will work again.
