Nokia Family Portrait: Nokia, Nokia Asha, Nokia X, and Nokia Lumia

Stephen Elop on stage says that whilst Lumia is pushed lower, Lumia will still be the main focus where Nokia’s latest innovations are headed. But there’s a real opportunity, especially in the app ecosystem that needs to be addressed.

In total we see the Nokia, Nokia Asha, Nokia X and Nokia Lumia. In the bigger picture, Nokia X is a feeder system using the Android platform with Microsoft’s cloud to bring the next billion users (next billion…oh old Nokia plans) to Microsoft. Perhaps you could consider it in a way like Sammy which could feed their Android users to Tizen but on a different scale.

Elop also just said that in the very near future, there’ll be more added to the family.
