Our old friend Sam was over at the Jolla booth last week during MWC, and got his hands on a Nexus 4 running Sailfish OS! Apparently Jolla are planning on allowing anyone interested to flash the OS onto their phone (similar to what Ubuntu and Firefox tried doing), the idea behind this is to gain traction and popularity of course, so good luck to them. Check out the video of Sailfish running on the Nexus 4 below, which seems to run reasonably well for an Alpha? software, the camera doesn’t work on this one yet but it’s a nice idea.
