Be proud of the hump. EmbarrASSed Apple hides junk in camera trunk of iPhone 6 #bump
It’s all about the bump again. When Apple released the iPhone 6, we were happy to see that even the design conscious folks at Cupertino had to submit to the attraction of the bump. Whilst they could slim down the phone, they could not slim down the camera.
TheVerge points out that Apple might be in denial about the existence of this bulge as it seems to be constantly photoshopped out, revealing just a stick like profile with no sign of the camera lump. It’s not like they angled it in a special way or altered the lighting. The rump is just completely gone.
I noticed a picture on announcement day comparing the thickness of the Apple Watch with the iPhone 6. Two were stacked together as if both were completely flush. I wasn’t sure if that was an official image though.
BTW, the iPhone 6 dimensions – is that including the bulge?
Nokia, the booty ambASSador with real camera prowess in the trunk of their 808 PureView, 1020, 1520 and 925 would say to embrace the bulge. It’s a sign of something possibly substantial.
