When Apple decided to remove Google Maps as the default mapping solution on iOS, Nokia attempted to disrupt some market share and launched HERE on iOS. Sadly, it was only a HTML5 wrapper and all the things that made HERE a winner were absent.

Last year we saw HERE’s commitment to being the best offline navigation suite when it launched a fully featured app on Android (alongside the Windows suite that has been on Lumia devices for some time now). iOS users were asking where there version was and today, they finally get the chance to basque in its awesomeness.

I had the chance to play around with it on an iPhone 6 and filmed a very quick look. Its much the same as the Android app, though it won’t show you venue maps just yet. Sadly, both the iOS and Android versions feel a lot more refined and fluid compared to Windows Phone.

If you have an iOS device (or know someone who need to jump on the bandwagon) get it from HERE (pun intended)
