Gallery: Nokia N8 versus Samsung Galaxy S shootout.

Axel from blog-n8.fr compares his Nokia N8 with his Samsung Galaxy S (GT i9000). The difference is most astonishing, especially in low light the N8 shows that this is not merely any old camera phone. Look how much that bigger sensor helps the N8 capture photos in low light conditions (non flash assisted as flash would be ineffective at these distances)

Axel notes time and time again the colour accuracy of the N8 (always the first pic in this post) compared to the Galaxy S. Checking out flickr it seems clear that there’s an odd “I’m a 1970s polaroid” filter on the Samsung.

Again the more natural colours of the N8, these colourful peppers, tomatoes and leafy green veg come alive. I’d be interested to see how much iPhone 4 warps such a colourful photo with its oversaturation filter that everyone seems to love so much.Out of interest, here’s a “shopped” one created with an altered saturation filter that mimmicked iPhone 4 in a previous post. This may be highly inaccurate.

Thanks to Stylinred for the heads up to mynokiablog.com/tips. You can share your Nokia findings there or via tips@mynokiablog.com. (The latter possibly received faster) Thanks 😀
