Video: Nelisquare – Qt Foursquare App by Tommi Laukkanen

Today seems to be, every post will have Tommi Laukkanen’s name on it. That’s just coincidence that I remembered I had posts about his apps to write about but didn’t have time what with ongoing exam revision.

Anyway, that aside, let’s take a look at Tommi’s latest creation. Nelisquare. I’m guessing neli means four in Finnish? Translator says yes. And in Estonian too.

With that in mind, this is of course a foursquare application that Tommi has made for Maemo and MeeGo, written in Qt Quick, QML and JavaScript.

I don’t think we have an actual official foursquare app hence BarrioSquare and this looks to do a better job. It might even be a good alternative to the official version on Symbian were it to come to Symbian^3
