Nokia Lumia 800 Pre-orders for India (+N9 India variant on Navifirm?)

A couple of Nokia India related stories. First, there seems to be a preorder page for the Nokia Lumia 800 in India. The programme is apparently valid from 5 December 2011 to 15 December 2011.

Next up, do you remember when we posted some Nokia N9 variants that were seen in Navifirm but were not necessarily the available models, e.g. UK. Whilst N9 is still not officially available in the UK (other than third party sellers) some readers pointed out that India wasn’t there.

Jill tips in that it was spotted on Navifirm.

Nokia N9 coming to India & Other Countries ???

Nokia N9 (RM-696) in ‘Nokia Care Suite’ on Navifirm shows Indian variant for version 20.2011.40.1 .. Models mentioned include

1) RM-696 NDT INDIA BLACK 16GB (059J243)
2) RM-696 NDT INDIA BLACK 64GB (059J236)
3) RM-696 NDT INDIA CYAN 16GB (059K113)

Whereas when i checked for version 10.2011.34.1 .. India is nowhere mentioned !!
