Carla Screenshots Leaked?

Somehow the people at Nokianesia seem to have gotten their hands on what is claimed to be screenshots of Carla OS; so a quick lookie see-

Carla (if this is carla and not FP2 or something else)- seems to bring the same squirckle toggles that are currently present in Meego.

A new Keyboard!! Finally- (even though the 808s keyboard was pretty decent), seems to have quick language switcher- same globe icon as iOS; but it does appear to still take up alot of screen real estate 5 rows of letters? bit of overkill..

New Music player, Uhm I’m going to go out and say this that looks UGLY! those huge icons look like they come from windows media player 2; where’s the design consistency? (either use a thin bar like the Belle toolbar- or put squirckles! and make it look nice!)

New browser apparently; while all popup menus have that shaded out area around the edges- like on the 808 (personally I prefer them to be rounded with no background fill.

New lock screen- apparently this comes with loaded with ICS as well 🙂

Some changes from the source- not sure how they guessed these just by the screenshots (such as the lock screen swiping…)

1. New on-screen qwerty keyboard (adopt from Windows Phone qwerty model)
2. New Lock screen without Unlock Button
3. New method (Swipe to unlock) to unlock the screen
4. New Version and New UI Music Player
5. New Interface for Option (Now with Blue button – Look a like on Meego Harmattan)
6. New Version Nokia Browser
7. Some UI Improvement on Nokia Browser

Side note- there are some images floating around of what people claim is an N8 running Meego- once again it’s the easiest thing in the world to plaster up a screenshot to full-screen and claim your running webOS on your Gameboy color; but for those interested (and in the slight shimmer of hope that it’s real- enjoy)

Don’t forget tomorrow is April Fools so wouldn’t want to be any Meego/Symbian fan that’s being pranked.
