Stephen Elop released that the Windows Phone store has reached 130,00 apps. It’s good to occasionally get these numbers, even if it is just to reassure devs and users that Windows Phone is a viable platform, and the “app” card can’t really be used as a deciding factor to not go with WP.

While on the subject of developers, Nokia is opening up the APIs in regards to imaging, location and music, encouraging devs to publish more innovative and exciting app experiences on the platform. Along with the new APIs, Nokia and Dreamworks have created a partnership that will see a Nokia Exclusive app hitting devices Q3-Q4 2013.

There is a Nokia Developer event going on right now, so we may see a lot more information released shortly.
