This popped up on Facebook a few moments ago. Nokia Canada and Live Nation are giving one music fan the chance to attend various gigs, and report on social media about the concerts, and get paid! Yes, it is an actual job. This truly would be my dream job, and I’m sure there are others out there that would love this!

Nokia and Live Nation are searching for a passionate music fan, 19 years of age or older, who loves live concerts – the noise, the energy and the atmosphere – to fill the ultimate music industry dream job. If you can count on one hand how many concerts you’ve been to, this probably isn’t the position for you! You must know about, and appreciate, all genres of music. The ideal candidate is active on popular social media platforms, with excellent oral and written communication skills, and already has a large social media following.
As the Nokia All-Access Correspondent, you will represent the fans at Live Nation events of all sizes across Canada. You must be willing and able to travel throughout North America. You will use a variety of social media accounts to interact with fans on a daily basis and keep them in the know of their favourite artists and the coolest shows. Internally, you will work with Live Nation employees to create and execute special experiences for fans at shows, create and maintain program budgets and develop and maintain a rolling schedule of events nation-wide to keep fans up to speed on the latest news.
