ITV Player finally joins BBC and Channel 4 in bringing Catchup to WP8
ITV Player joins BBC and Channel 4 with WP8 apps. From the screenshots, it looks decent, like they’ve made an effort for the Metro/Modern Panoramic UI. As a version 1, it doesn’t seem to have the dynamic bandwidth feature of the new BBC iPlayer whereby it can let you watch automatically in lower quality if you have a slower connection – either way, you still get to watch. Ads on the other hand stream really well.

Overall it seems to be highly well received. Just in time for the World Cup perhaps? A sign that there’s enough market share now to pay WP attention?
