5 days online gets Nokia XL 574,000 sales in China

Part of the Nokia thrill still? There’s reports that the Nokia XL did surprisingly well in China alone and on just one e-commerce site.
In the space of 5 days, it sold 574,000 units. Over 210,000 were sold on the first day. However, that is during a promotion period. It would be something else if the numbers were averaging like this
Is it a shame then that there’s little future in the X family? Or is this where Lumia should be drilling?
