There’s a growing backlash towards ‘free’ or ‘cheap’ games that claw back the value through what is essentially pay to win in app purchases. According to gamespot, Halo: Spartan Strike will be avoiding these microtransactions, coming it at $6. Yes a bit pricey but if the title is anything like Spartan Assault then I felt that was definitely worth the money.

Now there is a case for ‘free games’ too. Perhaps there could be an option? This is going to be available on all Windows devices and Steam.

As for gameplay, co-op/multiplayer would be cool.
