Video: Theme Hospital for Nokia N900 Maemo 5 with CorsixTH! (Beta2) Ah, Beautiful memories!
I’m probably showing my age now, but I loved Theme Hospital as a kid! (Though I think I got into it quite late as I owned a platinum disk version).
Hospital management, building clinics, dealing with patients and staff, and of course that soothing 80s elevator music. Haha.
You might have seen the first videos of N900 playing Theme Hospital Back  in December.
Now, a Beta 2 version has surfaced with quite a few improvements.
update: WE’RE STILL WAITING FOR THE PORT TO N900. This is not played on N900 yet but maybe what we’ll get when it is finally ported for N900. (kudos waleyboy)
“After three months of development since the previous release, we are proud to present CorsixTH beta 2. The aim of this release is to give a report of our progress and attract more players and (hopefully) contributors to the project. Since beta 1, a great number of new features and improvements were implemented. Generally, playability has been vastly improved by implementing more elements of the original game that were still missing in the previous release.”

As computers evolve, we risk losing some classic games. Bullfrog’s Theme Hospital, published in 1997, is a classic simulation game, but getting it to run natively on modern operating systems is getting progressively harder.
This project aims to reimplement the game engine of Theme Hospital, and be able to load the original game data files. This means that you will need a purchased copy of Theme Hospital, or a copy of the demo, in order to use CorsixTH. After most of the original engine has been reimplemented in open source code, the project will serve as a base from which extensions and improvements to the original game can be made.
