Camera Samples: Nokia N900 16:9/3.5MP shots on a cloudy day.

The N900 has a 5mp camera – 4:3 ratio at 2576×1936. It also takes widescreen 16:9 images at 2576×1488 (3.5MP). Below are some photos I took a couple of days ago on the way to one of my lectures. It was a pretty gloomy/cloudy/rainy day with some brief spots of sunshine.

Just for reference, in this occasion, the automatic white balance looked off on the N97, much cooler than the actual scene which looked more accurate with the N900.

I did have comparison sample with the N97 but I seem to have left that in my room at Cardiff to post it here (I hope so! Otherwise I’m gonna have to phone the insurance people). I can’t go get it as I’m 30 minutes away from London. [I knew I'd leave something important behind].

This means I’m going to be completely reliant on the N900 for music/photo/navigation which is going to be such a strain on the battery. My Proporta Charger is an absolute fail and isn’t charging anything (Apparently their warranty does not cover electrical products).

I do have a spare BP-4L but the N900 takes BL-5J which are completely different sizes.

    I’m one of the Proporta owners and I’d like to sort out the TurboCharger problem. That should work fine with your device and I’d really like to find out what’s wrong.

    Our warranty absolutely does cover all our products (including electrical products) but our LIFETIME warranty is on cases and doesn’t cover electrical. Sorry if we’ve caused confusion on that – I hope you can understand that it’s hard to warranty a battery for ever but our cases are all covered.

    Please give me a shout by email and let’s see if we can sort that TurboCharger.
