Video: Auto Rotate to portrait now available in N900 Web Browser!
Very quickly as I need to get dressed and catch a train here’s Portrait Web Browsing on the N900, courtesy of today’s new firmware update.
[YOUTUBE=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FE1Ld4lHHeQ]
- Its very fast.
- Hasn’t seem to have shrunken browser to fit portrait width – but I don’t know I only saw twitter.
- update…some sites do seem to render properly in portrait
- However, N900 does fit to portrait width any text when you double tap them (i.e. it knows it’s in portrait)- Makes one hand use of N900 browser much better
You may need to press Ctrl+Shift+O. to activate it

It does not work for me. I did update to the new version
My bad. I was trying with keyboard open. Otherwise it works.
