Video: Auto Rotate to portrait now available in N900 Web Browser!

Very quickly as I need to get dressed and catch a train here’s Portrait Web Browsing on the N900, courtesy of today’s new firmware update.

  • Its very fast.
  • Hasn’t seem to have shrunken browser to fit portrait width – but I don’t know I only saw twitter.
  • update…some sites do seem to render properly in portrait
  • However, N900 does fit to portrait width any text when you double tap them (i.e. it knows it’s in portrait)- Makes one hand use of N900 browser much better

You may need to press Ctrl+Shift+O. to activate it

Marvelous tip there on the ctrl+shift+o.
I was just heading here to make a comment on the fact that it had never worked for me and ask for assistance.
