to be updated: this was one of the photos at the fountain…we’ll update when I get back to hotel…though the internet there is worse than this bar.

Thanks so much to WOMWorld and Nokia for inviting us to the event and giving us such a great time!

  • nokia shoot was amazing…I guarantee when they piece all the components, you will love it. Big Time.
  • Barcelona is awesome…I didn’t realise much there was to do and see here…absolutely beautiful city
  • of course..just a privilege again to meet up with WOM, Nokia peeps and bloggers and film crew

Update: Here’s a selection of photos from the bulk upload thumbnail gallery

Beginning the day with Breakfast

Catching ride to the location with a very cool gadgety knowing driver, Paco Bueno

At the set with [from left] Nokia Nseries Marketing manager, Prima Sung; Fabien Berglund (Creative, Weiden & Kennedy) Anna Smith (Producer, W&K) Lydia Millet (1000HEADS, WOMWorld) and Toby Hussey (Account Manager).

I was gutted to find out the shoot was related to the Middlesex photoshoot I was invited to but couldn’t attend due to other commitments as this campaign’s looking really promising. I will go into the exact specifics in future posts, but the basic premise is people using Nokia technology to do cool and unexpected things and that it’s all connected to Nokia’s “hand” message of connecting people.

It was exciting to see the set, experience the sheer precision whilst behind the scenes and learn that every single thing Nokia and film crew are doing have a reason and meaning behind it (as opposed to an outsider’s point of view, lacking all the details and assuming that certain things don’t make sense – for Nokia who know about the bigger picture, it does)

Having a chat with Prima and the bloggers.

Roman’s face was in the original photo – I tried to frame it better in paint but accidentally chopped him out (only realising after saving over one and only copy) But you’ll see him and others better in photos below

Roman Schweigler, S60 Inside. Super awesome guy, great to see him again after the Ovi Good things event.

Norman John, Symbian World/ Nokia. Meeting the infamous NormanJ – really interesting guy, can’t believe he’s only just doing his A-levels and he’s doing so much Nokia wise. Good luck in August Bro.

Sergejs aka @_Nexus – I loved my conversations with Sergejs, he’s such an awesome guy. He’s from Latvia and studying at Coventry, and blogs at SymbianFreak and Maemofreak. He cracks me up a lot and had Lydia and mean in stitches, incapable of breathing by the end of the night.Prima Sung (Nokia). Prima is so unbelievably cool, fun down to earth, articulate and knowledgeable. It was a privilege to have had conversations with her about the state of Nokia, Nseries devices (yeah we grilled over N97 :p), branding, adverts and see how receptive she was and taking down our points of view.

Lydia Millet (WOMWorld) – Lydia is a girl full of surprises. Loves video games and will beat ANY guy at pool! Was great seeing her again has lots of laughs with her. Adam was on the other ride that arrived later.

Q&A with Fabien. Adam at most right.Met him first time in 07 at Nokia World, a fellow Cardiff Uni student. What can I say – that dude’s an absolute legend, first class.

Off to Location 2

Now roaming around Barcelona

PIGEONS!

Busy shopping areas with many entertainers

X6 Advert!

peeps

Mini Meal and evening sight seeing

Finish off with meal, drinks and some games (which got really intense!).

There was a match off between Bloggers and Nokia peeps. Right now as it stands we’re 1:1 . WOM went on to battle the locals and on 3 following games won! Lydia pulled out the winning shot (on film, not photo)There should be a gallery below with about 158 photos. It won’t load for me for some reason but some people have somehow managed to go through them…hmm..:)
