What will today's Nokia and Yahoo partnership announcement bring?
Since Friday, you may have heard about the illusive “Project Nike” a partnership between Nokia and Yahoo! (not Nike – she is the Greek Goddess of Victory).
The details of what this will bring exactly isn’t certain although one commenter on Friday said Yahoo! search and mail to Nokia devices.
That’s not really as exciting as the fancy “Project Nike” name suggests.
Both companies share sentiment of being sidelined by Google, and you know that old “Enemy of my enemy is my friend” might help the two a little in getting some footing back (more for Yahoo! though than Nokia).
We’ll have to wait out a few hours for anything official. There’s no countdown thingy from Nokia’s side as they usually do.
Fingers crossed for something exciting. As doubtful as that maybe.
