Video: Nokia C7 "HD" TV out over 3.5mm jack?
The Nokia N8 as you know outputs 720p HD over HDMI. But the C7 lacks HDMI out, only having the standard multifunctional 3.5mm audio-visual jack. Unlike previous Symbian devices, you aren’t stuck on 640×360. You are in fact, upscaled to as close to “HD” as you can get over an analogue signal.
It’s difficult to demonstrate over pictures (I should have tried identical ones like the E7/N900 shots), but in person it was easy to see that the C7′s tv output (above) was much sharper than the N97′s (below).

Point: You’ll be getting much sharper images over TV-out. Perhaps a little bit like the N900 (or sharper) and depending on the source video, you’ll get some decent home cinema watching experience.

To be just tv out looks very good
Jessica Simpson? Are you for real!
That’s THEIR phone, not mine :p
That´s what they all say.
Impressive. I was a bit worried it lacked the HDMI out of the N8. After seeing the video and pics, it looks pretty good. This phone will do very well IMO.
This is what i am taking about , the C7 is what a low to mid range Nokia phone , and its offering features other makers put on only their very highest end handsets. nice
It looks very close to HD. That is quite an amazing quality, and I like the way the camera move down and captures the C7 to confirms that yes, it is coming from the device!
Is it confirmed that the C7 will not be having CBD screen?
C7 implements a filter to polarise light and improve sunlight readability outdoors.
It’s good, but you can notice difference when put side by side.

Yes, I proved it. HD quality output form C7 via 3.5mm video cable.
