Video: PhoneArena's Nokia C7 Review

| October 27, 2010 | 4 Replies

PhoneArena reviews the Nokia C7 on YouTube. Like the N8 it runs Symbian^3 so expect similar operations. The major differences though are mainly physical.

  • C7 is a fingerprint magnet from glossy fascia, glossy edges and camera on the back
  • Beautiful display, colours very saturated and punchy
  • Similar viewing experience to N8
  • Three softkeys – we really like this. One softkey isn’t as usable on S^3 than other operating systems. C7 might be much more practical alternative to day to day user who wants their phone to be a really usable phone.
  • Really like C7 build quality, feels extremely solid and more streamlined than N8.
  • If you can get passed the fingerprint magnet, we’d really recommend the C7
  • Operation identical to N8

This is a great phone TBH, it might even outsell the N8! And i bet C6-01 will be even more popular than these two devices ๐Ÿ˜‰

Btw, I hated the review! It was REALLY boring. I’m quite a geek and don’t easily get bored with reviews but that was horribly bad. I’d prolly prefer Steve Litchfield’s or phonedog’s review. ๐Ÿ™‚

Felt the same about it. Like it was read from a piece of paper. :S

The C7 is Great except… if you love music like me, it does not give you the option of customizing equalizers. You are stuck with Nokia’s preset eq. Funny since most of Nokia’s less expensive models and even the E series allows you to add your own Equalizer Settings and Save them as presets. SE also did the same thing with their Satio and Vivaz models, but later added the customizable EQ with updates. Nokia had better release an update with this fixed if they want music lovers to buy the C7 or N8.
