My Dream Nokia #11: Nokia N11: 3D Camera, Dual Core, Dual boot MeeGo 1.2/Symbian Game Phone – Nokia N11

| January 1, 2011 | 12 Replies

Let’s start 2011 with MyDreamNokia #11. This comes with a 11 photo gallery showing off a concept MeeGo Game Phone by shihuzaan.

There’s no actual name, though it is labelled the usual N0 for protos (that or CO in preproduction stuff). I thought I’d call it N11.

Design wise, it resembles the N81/iPhone 4 but with gaming buttons  (to be unobtrusive of screen during game play) and a little Nokia twist. More photos in the gallery.

Features are quite believable too but it also includes a very interesting dual rear camera for 3D photos and videos! Neat stuff. (Nearly got a HP envy 17 3D, could have watched it on that :p)

  • MeeGo 1.2/symbian (are users getting dual boot options?)
  • Dual Core 1GHz
  • 512 RAM
  • 16GB Internal
  • Micro-SD Reader
  • Face Cam 2MP
  • Carl Zeiss
  • Xenon flash
  • Rear Cam 5MP(both)
  • Anodized Aluminium casing
  • CBD 4″ AMOLED (800×480 pixels)
  • capacitive multi touch screen
  • Dolby digital Surround Sound (with HDMI output)
  • bluetooth 3
  • 3D image capturing and video shooting
  • removable battery

About My Dream Nokia

I’m sure you’ve dreamt up your PERFECT Nokia phone. What it would look like, what it would feel like, what features it would have. Why don’t you share it with the world? Or at least with other Nokia fans :D .

It could be your own photoshopped or rendered work (seriously, you don’t need mega skills in either, basic paint job is often enough to convey a concept) of your dream product.

SEND this in similarly to ( whilst our domain emails are down) with the title “My Dream Nokia” and perhaps the model number (and a little description, maybe a few specs in the message area? Though this bit not necessary).

Who knows, maybe an image might flutter over to Nokia and through whatever route end up being real.

Well that concept isn’t going to pass cause the XO/\[] is already trademarked by Sony. The analogue stick kinda looks hard use but if they can make a comfortable analogue stick that fits well with the phone then sure, why not. Though what i see in future mobile gaming is more touch screen orentated games. FFTactics any1? =)

  • I think it was Henry Ford that said if you asked people what they wanted in terms of future transportation veichle, they would have said “faster horses.” Thats how this post (and most of the last years of mobiles) feels like.

What is possible today is a lot more than this. Concepts are great, and even some of the ideas behind some of these features are good, but in terms of design and implementation, could it go further?

For example, instead of starting with a slate/candy bar form, why not start with something different, like a pair of glasses or a pocket-watch/BT headset combo?

i will prefer a little more of resolution and a sensitive resistive multitouch screen AMOLED CBD, 32 gb, and at least 8mpx with 1080p video, i really dont care about 3d.

it also will be great if it is dual core i686
