E6 caught on camera
Looks like the nice folks at Engadget have managed to get their hands on a photo or two of the upcoming E6. While the specs are already well known, the exact look of the device was kept a well guarded secret. While I can’t say I’m particularly fond of the current look I suppose the audience to which it appeals will be more than content with the design as is.
Note the multitude of shortcut keys to the home-screen, calendar and contacts applications as well as a distinct lack of soft-key buttons. In all likelihood this will be a touch and type affair though this is far from guaranteed. Also of note is the 8 Megapixel snapper on the back that distincly resembles the set-up on the previously leaked X7.

Perhaps it is the color, but it just doesn’t have the quality feel the E71/72 had/have. The lip on the bottom also looks weird and unpolished.
Fit and finish is a bit of as well and it’s not even a ‘C0′ device. What’s with the hump of the camera not carried through into the battery cover? Just a drop and BAM! battery cover just like that.
It might function and all, but it no way does it give you that corporate feel the E-series of yesteryear had.

mathematicly, QVGA screen must be congruen with VGA screen, thats why nokia dont use nHD resolution in the first place, nokia want E6-00 design looks like E72, especially the screen, so nokia must use resolution that match/congruen with QVGA, so VGA must be.
4. No softkey found
This kind of ugly piece of crap is the reason why nokia losing marketshare. Who cares about this phone? How many similar phones do nokia have. What a joke! Hope elop kicks out more folks. Meego and new symbian fast!

What are you doing Nokia? I have lost the contact with the customers, Blackberry is better and more fashion than this piece of metal.
I have a Nokia N8 but it’s a great disappoiment! (N8 it’s my 10th NOkia phone, but the last)

People who have seen this phone say it looks ok, just like an E72.
I will take back all the fugly things I said earlier IF the final output comes to my liking. Hehe.
I think i’ll upgrade my e72 for this if the price is right, I already has n8 as my portable camera so i wouldn’t care the edof stuff on this, but i am constantly unsatisfied with e72′s slow ui and small memory.

note that the keyboard layout is identical to the n97 mini’s keyboard. Also there are call and end keys and the menu key is placed at corner instead of center

When saw the picture of the rumored E6-00, the upper part seems to be the E63 and on the lower part (keypad) looks like C3.
I’m i right? Or am just blind? Lol
