Video: RdUX II, Qt Quick based unique, zoomable live tablet desktop

| February 6, 2011 | 5 Replies

Here’s a video Jim found of RdUX II (update from RdUX), a Qt Quick based tablet desktop (possibly on MeeGo as that’s one of the tags). I don’t know what he device is but it looks like a giant iPhone.

It has some cool features:

  • Multitouch two point to bring up “birds eye view”  that minimizes applications
  • Side bar of multitasked apps/launcher?
  • Multitasked windows can be placed randomly (outside of a grid) and you can pinch/zoom to view more or less items per window which is nice. There’s equally an option to set these windows into a more organized grid.
