Aiming for music lovers and the next billion, Nokia launches the X1-00 today. It features a massive speaker on the back rated at “106phon” supposedly could rattle your Windows. Furthermore, they’ve tweaked the frequency so that it does not sound distorted at higher volumes. That’s great for folks that use their phone as their primary music device – and for this purpose, the X1-00 is packing a lot of punches.

Amazingly this is intended to retail for LESS THAN 35 euros! It comes in at 34 euros before subsidies and taxes. This is totally big value for money.

  • expandable memory with microSD card
  • FM Radio
  • 3.5mm audio jack
  • 61 day standby time!
  • 5 phonebooks – useful if phone is shared between different people, e.g. within a family
  • S30
  • 112.2 x 47.3 x 16mm and weighs 91g.
  • Torch

Only thing missing is a camera, but that’s not really a priority for 34 euros and given all the other features Nokia has packed into this.

Thanks Imran Yousaf for the tip!
