Video: Nokia E7 vs Nokia N8 720p
@stevelitchfield from AAS compares video capture of the Nokia E7 and the mega Nokia N8. The N8 is the imaging and video king, 12MP, massive sensor, 28mm wide-angle Carl Zeiss optics and stellar stereo audio. But the E7 doesn’t do all that bad. It’s quite good actually. And that 4″ AMOLED CBD is just a joy of a view finder. N8 has active hyperfocal distance video focus (with hackable continuous autofocus, might be in new firmware) whilst the E7 has EDoF (no room for continuous autofous – a it lacks autofocus).

Am I the only one who thinks the E7′s video is generally much clearer than the N8 (albeit being washed out and under-saturated)?
E7′s has everyting on focus due to his smaller sensor and its settings are too sharped wich make its video look mope detailed. But it produce much more artefacts you can see in the end.N8 shows much better DoF but at the same time I think there is something wrong with N8′s settings.
if we look at the first video which clearly indicates reign of e7 over n8 because e7 has full focus camera which keeps the nearer and farther objects in focus.
i can conclude that full focus camera have excellent video recording and has the capability to beat the auto focus camera as long as the object distance > 60cm
it only lags in still photography.

can we improve the full focus camera still capture to enable micro photography?.if it can possible than the coming years is surely for the full focus camera mobiles.

Easier on the eye and sharper than the N8. The N8 appears a bit hazy or something, not really crisp.
N8 got EdoF when records video too. Better sensor gives higher dynamic range so N8 video actually is better , but ther’s something wrong with settings…
I think its because he didnt activate video stability option for n8
The N8 colors seem more realistic than E7.

nokia n8 much better than nokia e7 because nokia e7 have no fm, no micro sd slot, no carl zeiss camera etc i prefare 2 nokia n8
