Video: Epic Nokia Astound TV commercial
OK – This may be one of the coolest Nokia TV adverts I’ve seen in a LOOONG time. It’s for the Nokia C7 (Shame not N8) aka The Nokia Astound at T-Mobile. It begins being played in with the keyboard cat. An advert with keyboard cat. EPIC. Add Pacman ghost and Angry birds
The video stars a bunch of sexy looking Astounds each playing a video to make it look like it’s actually there. You’ll get what I mean when you watch it (I am mega, mega tired! -_-). The images are simulated, I’d normally be annoyed buy that’s ok since they’re not showing a particular feature which could be misinterpreted as real. Just conveying ideas. Well, the facebook “social” app is shown – though fortunately just ever so briefly :p.
It’s titled cowboy as he’s the main character, on an adventure acted out by the other Astounds.
It’s not totally WOW but several steps in the right direction in terms of Nokia advertising.

Ok THIS is the kind of commercial Nokia needs to push out. Brief, fun and extremely appealing! I really wish they could’ve done this for all their other new phones!
Also, I hope they make the same kind of ads for their WP7 phones when they come out with a few
Now all they need to do is to get this rolling on prime time tv on prime channels.. yeah right…
Amazing and nice piece of creativity.
It seems great! There’s only one problem: I can neither see an HTML5 embbed video or an Youtube link to get to the video somehow.
Thanks in advance for listening,
Flashless Opera Mobile user
YES nokia actually listened and got it right
see, stupid meaningless ads catch people’s attention
if that came on tv id say most people would look and some f their attention goes to the phone aswell
at first glance i thought it was useless(apart from being nice )
but then again, they included the music player, media player.. and gaming(angry birds)..
atleast… somthing
video was removed :/
ahh Tmobiles youtube channel has it
hmmm dont remember how to get it to embed
does any body know what the name of the song they used?
The song is “Don’t fence me in” but I don’t know who is singing this newer version but the original is excerpt here> Don’t Fence Me In is a popular American song with music by Cole Porter and lyrics by Robert Fletcher and Cole Porter.
Grate! I enjoyed this:) Astound looks really good and has some nice apps for it on ovi store. You can do so many thing with a smartphone, including reading on it:) I personally enjoy this new mbooks e-reader; makes my smartphone smarter!
