So yesterday we saw a video of the Nokia J (BH-806?) in a new  glossy product video. Here’s one for the BH-505, undoubtedly my most favourite bluetooth headset EVER.

I found them really comfortable to wear, great sound, awesome bass, great sound isolation, excellent battery life, does NOT fall off your head what so ever. Construction is also very strong. I pair this up with my N8, N900, Computer, even Samsung Omnia 7. It’s wonderful. Music buttons all work. Funny thing I found is that when attached to a Samsung, the Nokia tune plays in the headset! Connection is easy, and next time you turn it on, it will automatically connect to that device. Easy and no fuss. Something else I love is how (when you’re in a call) the headset plays in the sound of your surroundings so you can hear around you and what you’re saying. You don’t get that weird sensation when like you’re talking with fingers in your ears. It is such a subtle feature but all combined is why I rant and rave about this product.

The only issue I had was that you can’t lean against a headrest given the loop around the back and the gap between it and your head. And also that perhaps the buds come off a little too easily on mine and that voice activated dialling only works with Symbian. Other than that, wonderful. Oh, another thing that’s great, the price! It’s stonkingly good. You can pick one up for about £35.99. That’s extreme value for money. I thought they were great value at £50. Devin Balentina is an audiophile and he can attest to how good the BH-505s are.

Check it out, Nokia BH-505 bluetooth headset, just £35.99 at Amazon

What surprises me is why they’re doing product videos of it again 1 year on. Perhaps it’s for the new colours, Red, Green and Black. Not sure why they don’t show the blue one. It’s clearly blue in the first screenshot right?
