What you’re looking at is a Windows 7 phone. No not Windows Phone 7, an actual PURE Windows phone. adit38 mentioned this in comments back in April.

  • 1.2GHz Intel Atom processor,
  • 1GB of LPDDR400 RAM,
  • 802.11b/g/n WiFi,
  • 32GB of eMMC disk space, and expandable memory via microSDHC.
  • 5 megapixel autofocus camera with face detection on the back
  • VGA front-facing camera
  • 218g
  • Dual Boots Symbian
  • ^^Read the one above again.

What’s pretty cool – if you didn’t guess the title (you’ll be surprised, some don’t – like I’d expect if you don’t like Windows stories then don’t click :o) this dual boots SYMBIAN. Fujitsu is one of the last remaining Symbian proponents, pushing out Symbian handsets in the tech haven that is Japan.

Symbian for daily tasks, battery management…then whack in Windows 7 for work. Maybe? What do you think of the IDEA? Would you consider Windows PHONE dual boot with Symbian (technicalities aside)?

Sorry – I can’t find who tipped this (not in my mailbox :S). I just seem to have a tab of tips open, but no corresponding mail (these tabs are on my to do list in study breaks. Yeah, my break consists of technically more “work”) .

Via Engadget.

Is this then the first GHz+ Symbian phone? What on earth will it do for S^1? :S
