Video: Nokia and Carl Zeiss – Creating the Best in Mobile Photography

This morning we had a post showcasing the Nokia N8’s camera with absolutely stuning 720p video. In that post, we heard from Elop that although the N8 is amazing, that is just a fraction of what Nokia can bring in terms of imaging/optics.

In this video we see another photo focused subject where we can watch the guys behind the Nokia N8 camera, folks from Nokia and the folks from Carl Zeiss.

The Nokia N8 can and does take over my point and shoot. I am absolutely stunned at the quality my N8 produces over my WB600. And because it’s small and light and built into my phone, goes to more places, especially over something like my 60D (hefty thing).

The N8 has wide angle lens to capture more in your photos/videos. It has the biggest sensor ever on a mobile phone and bigger than pretty much all compacts and some superzooms. It has class leading audio, and records in stereo. The lens is Carl Zeiss, glass. The camera has a mechanical shutter. It has Xenon flash. It’s pretty much extremely ahead of its time here. Oh and it has that camera shutter button that’s now a revolutionary feature in iOS5.

Oh and this video was shot with the Nokia N8 too.

Thanks SA for the tip!
