Animated Video: “Corporate Ladder: A Journey To Success with the Nokia E7 smartphone”

As part of the whole E7 – “success is what you make it” campaign they’ve made this animated video about the journey up the corporate ladder with the E.

The video is not yet listed so you guys get to see it a little bit earlier than the rest.

Ever dreamed about getting away from the corporate grind? Nokia wanted to celebrate the idea that with Quick Office – the Nokia E7 can be your office anywhere, anytime.

Created for the Nokia E7, Corporate Ladder is based on the idea that anyone can get creative with a standard office Powerpoint presentation. In this short animation, our main character starts his journey on the ‘corporate ladder’ but breaks free from the monotony and goes outside the realm of business on a journey towards personal success. On his travels he re-purposes the old corporate ladder to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary, leading him and his friends into a radical re-definition of Success.

Hmm. I still don’t get the whole success is what you make it thing. A lot better than those video stories I think, if a little David Firth on the creepy animations. Ending is amusing though.

  • I didn’t “get” a thing until the end, which is really amusing. That’s very interesting but I wonder how many people (that are not Nokia “fans”) will watch it fully to actually see the end.

Aren’t businessmen supposed to be smart and savvy? Which businessman will buy an E7?

I hate to agree with you, but…

I don’t think QuickOffice is good enough to be used for business. It is too clunky and slow. Even Android has a better PDF viewer (actually written by Adobe).

Business is only case where I would consider a Windows Phone, as the Office implementation is good, and only likely to get better.

Whatever happened to Microsoft producing Office for Symbian? It was big news two years ago. 🙁

I guess Symbian got more than they bargained for and got Office in a different way (the guy in charge of it)

Haha, well how about that saying, “Be careful what you wish for!”

I wonder how far along MS actually got with Office for Symbian…
