Tuesday’s Clue for #N9 Seconds appears in 1 Hour. 7 Nokia N9s left!

| July 19, 2011 | 14 Replies

So, the #N9Seconds Comptition is still stumping all of us. The 13th solution was only found after Nokia released a clue yesterday morning on twitter (9AM BST). What did you think of yesterday’s solution? 9th letter of each video description. Sounded simple enough, but no one thought of it.

Today’s clue appears at 9PM BST (British Summer Time  +1UTC)

I bet some of us have seen this far, far too often.

I’ll update this post when the clue is released at http://twitter.com/nokia

The original #N9 seconds now is on 600 comments of people still trying to work out clues or airing frustration.

Be quick!

  5. Mike says:

Everyone has one…and the straightforward bit sounds to be like something needs to be backwards haha

  6. syd says:

if any one wins it does it mean they win the device or does it go into a raffle thing?

  7. Luisito says:

Someone get really mad today… Everyone has one… But this isn’t straighforward…
    Damn…

  8. jon says:

So I enter my code, then I enter the 2 captcha words, then I just hit enter?

If I hit enter I never see the WRONG! come up like above, and I don’t see any submit button or anything? lol not a good start

  9. inept says:

The hardest part is probably passing that captcha. Here, identify what this black blob says.

  10. Cod3rror says:

Thanks for making me feel stupid Nokia.

  11. dcastrog says:

damn I think I might have it, but not quite, yet! I think that if I say anything I might lose my chance to win, I bet more people are on my same dilemma

  12. gordonH says:

I have one on me…it’s a bit tilted, not exactly straight cause I used it one-handed too often.

i should say that this whole thing is a Nokia is playing a trick upon us all. this is just a marketing trick to engage users to promote their swipeness mania.

    ****WATCH ME PROVE IT ****

THIS WILL SHOCK YOU ALL >>
ON THE TWITTER PAGE OF THE COMPETITION, http://WWW.TWITTER.COM/N9SECONDS ,SCROLL TO THE VERY BOTTOM UNTIL YOU HAVE THE FIRST TWEET (that is the “000000 was tried and has been wrong” tweet. reaching the bottom of the page is lengthy so do this(for novice users click your scroll wheel on the top of the page and roll the mouse downwards. you will notice the page starts to scroll automatically. leave the mouse at the bottom and it will eventually reach the bottom, where you have every tweet from 13 july upto today loaded in that page. check that you will notice the “000000″ was deemed wrong, as the first tweet.

NOW FOR THE BIG THING >>>
YOU ALL KNOW THAT “915914″ was a winning code, from the 14th july tweet from the account.

BUT NOW PRESS Ctrl + F AND TYPE IN 915914 AND HIT ENTER(I am using google chrome browser, but the method is same for every other browser)

YOUR FIRST “ENTER” WILL TAKE YOU TO THE JULY 14 TWEET, WHICH SAYS 915914 WAS RIGHT ALONG WITH 4 OTHER RIGHT CODES. PRESS ENTER AGAIN AND YOU SEE FROM THE NEXT TWEET HAVING 914915 THAT ON THE SAME 14TH JULY, IT WAS SAID WRONG. KEEP PRESSING ENTER AND YOU WILL SEE 4 MORE SAME TWEETS, SAYING IT’S WRONG.

YOU WILL NOTICE THE SAME THING FOR 041434, dca578, AND SO ON..

THE BIG QUESTION IS, WHY NOKIA, WHY DID YOU CHEAT US LIKE THIS? I MEAN, MANY LIKE ME HAVE SPEND HOURS TRYING TO CRACK THE CODE AND YOU UNLOCK THEM YOURSELF AND YOU POST THEM AS WRONG WHEN GENUINE USERS LIKE US TRY. I GUESS THAT EVEN PEOPLE WHO POST HERE THAT THEY HAVE WON ! ARE FROM NOKIA I MUST SAY, TO KEEP THINGS LOOKING PLAYWORTHY. WHAT A TRICK !

SO I ADVICE ALL MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPETITION AND NOT TO WASTE ANY MORE TIME. YOUR TIME CAN BE BETTER SPENT THINKING ABOUT HUNGER AND POVERTY PROBLEM THAT SOME PLACES IN THE WORLD ARE FACING. N9 CAN WAIT. __SIGH__

      Caps lock.

It is simply because the tweeter feed wasn’t updating well and many right codes didn’t appear, so they tweeted manually the right codes, and so this is why there are the same wrong codes earlier than the same right codes.
